Junebug

One of my favorite books for color inspiration these days is Liberty and Co. in the Fifties and Sixties.

I referenced it many times while I was working on my Junebug fabric collection.  I am partial to any design from the Sixties, and for me Liberty really takes the cake.  Visiting their store in London is one of my favorite things to do...it is truly an experience that satisfies the soul!

Bzzz

Halloween was a good one this year, Rowan was really excited to go trick-or-treating.  Once he figured out what it was all about, he was off and running.  Now he repeatedly says "ghost" and "boo".  I'm already thinking of ideas for next year's family theme!

Momo Owls

Liam models his new bib & shoes, made from fabric from my "Momo" collection for Timeless Treasures.  "Momo" means "Peach" in Japanese- he is my little peach, I could just eat those cheeks!
These adorable shoes & bibs are made by Burkeheart Baby and are available on Etsy.

Sunny Daze Cotton Canvas

I am so excited about my new Sunny Daze collection for Timeless Treasures, and now we are introducing some of the prints on cotton canvas.  These look great... I am picturing a beach tote or maybe some cool vintage chairs repainted and upholstered with this fabric, or even pot holders for a sunny kitchen!
See the whole cotton collection here:

Check out my friend Rachel's beautiful baby girl Coco hanging out on a quilt mom made from my new "Berkeley" collection!  This girl is all smiles.

It's a boy!

Ok, a short break from the design stuff to announce the arrival of Liam!  Born on June 12th, a whopping 8 lbs 3 oz.  He joins his big brother Rowan, 17 months, at home.  We couldn't be happier.   I may have my hands full for a bit, so if my posts slow down I apologize!

APQ Article

I was so excited to see the August issue of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine on the news stands this morning!  On page 23 is a feature article about me and my new Berkeley Collection for Timeless Treasures Fabrics.  The article follows the design process from vintage inspiration to completed quilt collection.  I hope you all will check it out!
